National Chemical Inspectorate
Biological control of microorganisms, insects, nematodes and arachnids.
Swedish Consumer Agency
Consumer advice, overseeing of consumer affairs.
Swedish Environmental Protection Agency
Generally responsible as a central authority, share responsibility for granting permission for import of alien species with other authorities.
Swedish Maritime Administration
Unintentional introduction of alien species through ballast water and hull fouling.
National Board of Forestry
Alien forest culture material.
Swedish National Road Administration
Planting and sowing of plants along the roadside, seed mixtures etc.
Plant Protection Service (Swedish Board of Agriculture)
Prevent import and spread of insects and diseases damaging to plants.
Customs
Border control of import of endangered species, which are often alien.
